Welcome back man. I truly mean congrats and I'm happy for you when I say it. I have 4 foster brothers 2 of which came from homes with the same problem so I've been through another side of the battle twice. It's tough.

It's a daily battle Mike. The urge never goes away. And if you give in, it hits you harder than it did before. I still do not go along with those who believe it's a disease. I believe it's a choice. Sometimes a difficult choice and after a while, you can't choose anything else. Eventually the call of the bottle gets faint, but it's always there. Addicts, or people with addictive susceptible personalities, are never cured, we simply trade one addiction for another.

nothing that ive saw indicates what really happened, it could have been anything, hence why i asked.
