a wifi card INSIDE the linksys WAP11!!!!

Ok, I found this wifi card embedded in the wap11 linksys wireless AP.....and i was wondering if anybody knew where the drivers are located for it? it has no markings at all, no serial numbers...*hoping someone knows* :/

What version is the WAP? Can you open up the PCMCIA card and see what chipset is inside? If not, you can look up your WAP11 with the FCC at their website http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid/ (You'll find an FCC ID on a label somewhere on the outside of the WAP11) All wireless devices have to be tested for FCC approval and the files usually include photos of the inside of the device. Once you know what chipset is inside you can search for drivers.

yea...but that doesnt help me..i need the DRIVERS for it...! and I cant even find out what it IS!

It's a WPC11, but you need to find out what version it is. Each version uses a different chipset and therefore different drivers.
