A+ help

I'm studying for the A+ exam, just wondering if you need to know all the cpus?Of if there are certain ones to remember?

I'm confused about what you mean when you say "all of the cpu's". There are technically only 2 different types of CPU's out there, 32bit and 64bit.

If I have to know every processor that came out and all the specs for each? I'm looking through my book and it's just table after table of different Intel processors. And the same thing for AMD.

That would be nearly impossible for anyone. A+ certs are not that difficult to get, and do not require the memorization of that many CPU's.

So, no. You don't need to memorize them ALL.

Hi,

I firmly disagree. I know that when I took the exam many years ago, that there were not many questions. However, to be on the safe side, it serves you well to know the sockets. However, you decide for yourself. If you want, here's something you might like.
