4770's drop to $99

newegg has lowered their prices on most of the 4770's to $99 a pop.

if your considering buying just one 4890 / gtx 275 / gtx 285(non sli setup), two of these little suckers would probably be a better solution. and all you need is recommended 550w psu to run two of them.

you can save some cash

they recommend a 400w to power one, that 400w is for the entire system including the video card.

but, im pretty sure you can get away with less, one of our members here was running 2x 4830's on a antec earthwatts 380w psu, and 4830's draw more power than 4770's.

^ It's great to see a card like that being able to run on such lower power. Crossfire 4770s require a 550W, but if you can run 2x4830s im sure you can get away with less than a 550W.

Remember, amps matter more than watts. I run my system on a 520hx.
