ok over the past few weeks i've been looking at building a pc but not looking in depth at anything i was looking at so i been looking in depth at 3 separate builds that suit what i am looking for
now i'm stuck between cost, proformance and life span
the 3 builds i came up with is
build 1
mobo - gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6
cpu - intel E8400
memory - 4gb ( 4 x 1gb stripes ) patriot 800mhz
gpu - radeon hd 3850 256mb
cost - £437 with 1 gpu, £588 with 2 and a new psu
build 2
mobo - MSI P35 Platinum LGA
cpu - intel Q9450
memory and graphics same as build 1
cost £459 with 1 gpu, £609 with 2 and a new psu
build 3
mobo - ECS A77OM AMD770+ SB600
cpu - AMD Phenom 2.3ghz
gpu - 8800 gts 512mb
memory same as build 1
cost £448, no need for new psu and hasent got a second pci-e
now the thing is i am leaning towards build 2 seen it has the quad core i would like
just so every one knows i'm not overclocking and i am looking at playing games at mid to high settings
