175? i would have choice that too a little while ago, but reading the reviews on newegg I see that alot more people say the 170 OC better? is that true?
it really depends on the individual chip you get but in general the 175 should be a little cooler at overclocked speeds because it wouldn't require as much voltage
its fine, there is no physical difference between DDR400 and DDR500 chips other than the fact the latter are rated to run at higher frequencies, in other words greater overclocking ability

well its the size of the fan and generally the larger the fan the more air it pushes. the number, size and position in the case matters as it determines how effecient air flow is in the case which is vital to air cooling a cpu and other components
