Hey all, I just recently had to install a fresh copy of windows xp sp2 on my hard drive after upgrading to a new motherboard and video card. As a result, I now have two copies of windows on my hard drive. Is it safe for me to simply delete the older windows folder that I'm not using anymore or is there a safer process to go about removing the older version? Thanks!

You can do that, and then edit boot configuration not dual boot XP/XP but only the newer version. You should have made a fresh partition before installing xp anyway, or just formating the drive and then installing it.

I'd reinstall. you can delete that file with a bart pe cd, but it isn't a good idea to have 2 xp's on the same partition
