Yeah, you would see a huge difference. Not just because its a 2.8ghz, but because its HT. I think if your going to get a 2.8ghz, then just bit the bullet and buy the 3.0ghz LGA775 prescott. A little price difference.
no the 2.8 isnt hyperthreading - thats the thing and neither is the 2.0 that im using right now - my mobo only supports the 3.06 northwood hyperthreading and i cant find that anywhere- if i get the 2.8 non-hyperthreading will i still see a good increase?
