100 gigabytes of MP3s?

...you can preform modds on most of the MP3 players that have standard hard drive sizes...there's a thread on how to do it w/ an iPod in the Apple section of this forum...but basically you pop the case, put the hard drive in, reinstall the firmware...and reload the songs; it isn't as easy as it sounds though. i bet you can make your beloved DMC-Xclef 500 (or any other music player for that matter) more than 100 gigs...finding a HD that big would be tough.

I would tend to say that people with that much music are:

a. Never going to listen to them all in their life time
b. bragging about all thier space (but we can laugh back and say that you wasted a ton of $$.)
c. in need of more free time
d. obviously have doubles triples and quadruples of the same song.
e. Have songs they dont like just to make thier list bigger.

I myself have 10.4GB of music, and that is ever being sifted through for crap and what not, I plan on dropping down to 5 or so some day.

I'm not knocking music, I think its just another way for people to brag.

:end of vent:

thats why i dont have my computer specs in my sig. Its a XP2200+, 256mb Ram, Radeon 9200se, the only reason i publicly annonce my specs is if something is wrong with it and i need help.
