    Suggest me a new build

Hmm, doesn't seem like the Sabertooth is available in Australia, but there is something called Rampage that might be the equivalent. Here is the link to the Australian Asus site - ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards That Crucial RAM is a lot more expensive here for some reason. Geez I wish...

    Suggest me a new build

Awesome, thanks heaps for that. It seems that most of the brands I used last time are still up there so it should make it a bit easier picking parts. As the prices Australian dollar is pretty close to the US dollar at the moment I am happy for you to post US links if you want to suggest me some...

    Suggest me a new build

Hey guys. I am looking at a building my second computer but I have fallen behind in the latest pc technology. I used this forum to build my first computer and it was a great help to select the right parts. For my new build I am looking at spending about $1500 Australian Dollars, which at the...

    F.E.A.R. 3 Trailer

Yeah the first one scared the crap out of me playing it in the dark. Haven't got a chance to play the second one yet, but probably won't if it sucked.

    Gaming Monitor

+1 for Samsung monitors. Just bought a 22" and it's brilliant.

Is there a easier way?? Monitor question.

I got a KVM switch off ebay and it works a treat. Just press a button to switch over.

    Possible Graphics Card Update

Ok no worries, I will look at getting the 5770 when I get the money. If I was to wait for the 5850 to come down, would that be compatible? Also you mentioned my CPU might hold me back. Are the new CPU's compatible or are they a whole new socket?

    Possible Graphics Card Update

Lol! I didn't even pick up on that. So is the 4890 better than the 4890? Were you talking about the 4890 but just got the numbers wrong? So I assume your recommending the XFX HD 5770 (Juniper XT) then? Also I looked at the Graphics Performance List thats posted and them seems like the new...

    Possible Graphics Card Update

Ok, well I compared some XFX 5770 cards on NewEgg and there isn't much difference between the two the same price, but a bit of difference with the more expensive one. Should I go for the XXX one? XFX HD 5770 (HD-577A-ZNFC) (Juniper XT) - Newegg.com - XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper...

    Possible Graphics Card Update

True that. I think my PSU does have a couple of PCI-E connectors so that should be fine. Is it better to get the next gen card or do you think by the time I'll need it, I would probably want a better DX11 card? I think it might just be better to go for the 4890. Also, will I get a lot better...

    Possible Graphics Card Update

Cool. Would I need to up my power supply for these graphic cards or would my 550W be enough?

    Possible Graphics Card Update

Thanks for that guys. So I assume I will have no problems in terms of compatibility with these models? Are ATI the better cards atm? Yeah the 5850 is around $350 to $400 here so yeah a little bit too expensive, but the 5770 and 4890 are only around the $200-250 mark which sounds good. Is there...
