Shoot. Was hoping to get a response before the computer went home. Mother in laws computer. VLC it would do nothing. No errors sound. It would just open and sit there. Windows Media would pop up with an error, but can't remember what it said now. I can find out though.

Can't seem to get AVI videos to work in a windows 10 computer. I installed VLC media player and K lite codec pack as well as cole2k media codec pack advanced and still nothing. Any other suggestions?

Just noticed. I'm running Window 7 Pro

Currently I have a 120 ssd for my OS and main programs. I also have a 500G HD for my smaller programs and two TB HDs for storage. I'm wanting to replace one of my 1TB HD with a 3TB HD. Can I do this with my older system?

The Optical drive I have in my laptop is BLU-RAY read, DVD burn. Would be nice to have the Blue Ray
