c: (local disk) d: (cdr) e: (dvdr) it makes now diffence what drive letter you assign it, it still won't show my computer i have come across you problem before. Thanks for you input

all drivers have been removed an re-installed with latest version...
Have you checked for bios updates? try flashing your bios with the latest update.
The psu can defiently cause these type of problems. Try replacing it with a freinds for the intrem just to troubleshoot.
NTFS 4 dos is a good way to quickly repair the problem (sometimes)...

If the admin password is blank simple boot in safe mode , login under administrator goto control panel ---> user accounts and reset the passwords on the forgotton accounts
