    BFG card question

so should i just take my chance with it or should i rma it and get a different one? i mean i wouldn't mind if there were only a few reviews talk about it dying on them, but if it's like every other review i read that says it dies after several months then...something's probably wrong here...

    BFG card question

omg...i didn't realize the antec smartpower 500w received sooo many bad reviews. it seems like this thing has a high chance of dying just after several months...not even a year!...and might take my entire mobo with it! anyone here had this problem or know anything about it? or maybe is...

    souncard recommendations

m-audio is good, i checked them out too, but i heard that the newer creative cards are a little better. as for the audigy 2 zs, i have 2 questions (since you own one): 1) is the software buggy? i read that it is. 2) do you have to change any setting on the soundcard itself from the default...

    memory question

yea i'll go with crucial. there are just too many people on newegg complaining about the corsair modules dying on them only after a few months. i'm guessing corsair is kinda like dell...if you're lucky and get a good product it'll last you a long long time, but if you get the crappy product...

    memory question

no i meant i'll buy both modules from the same brand, but i just wanna know which one is better buy, crucial or corsair xms?

    memory question

ok so i'm thinking of upgrading my computer's memory from 1gig to 2gigs. the 1gig memory in my system right now is 2 512mb modules from crucial, and i've had absolutely no problem with it at all and i've had it for about 6 months now. i also look at other brands, including the corsair xms...

    BFG card question

alright i think i'll go with the 500w one that crazed has linked to since it's cheap and 500w should be more than enough i think. one more question before i buy this thing: do they make these psu one-size-fits-all? i have a dell dimension 3000. it's old i know...but still works great and fast...

    BFG card question

hmm i don't see the 550watt tp2 on newegg...at least not for antec. also, i see that some of these list "pci-e connectors", what are they for? my motherboard doesn't have any pci-e slots so will that matter?

    BFG card question

Re: Re: BFG card question thanks! so you're saying that i probably need a bigger (in size instead of watts) PSU? also what's a good PSU brand? pardon my ignorance, i don't really know much about computer hardware.
