Did you try the power supply thing yet?

There is no physical way to reverse the program and output it to an installation file again. However, in some instances you can transfer the program to another machine, even if you dont have the install files. It requires a data-transfer program such as AlohaBob's PC Relocator for example...

Yeah you guys are exactly right about putting it on machines as a fresh copy. So many machines flip out if they have system issues already on there such as virus/spyware.
