My parents computer occasionally BSODs, every time a quick restart means that it is fine, but i've decided to try find out what the problem is. This is the STOP code:
STOP: 0x0000000D1 (0x0000DB39, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0xADDA1257)
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks for the quick response.
It is an atheros AR9285.
Tried starting up with it off then turning it on, but still says 'wireless capability is turned off'.
Its looking like it may be a dodgy card, although it worked fine for so long, is it possible for them to stop suddenly?
Ill see if...
I have a Lenovo ideapad z570 which I've been using for a few weeks now with no problems. I then installed ubuntu onto it and after not being able to get the wireless to work in ubuntu I restarted and booted back into windows. In windows the wireless does not work either, after troubleshooting...
Maybe try the card in another computer if possible to check? But it may not be the graphics card, what PSU do you have? This may be an issue as if it's not getting enough power it may not work.
-sorry posted before I saw moms post but same question :)
just ran inteburn again with cpu-z and coretemp and when vcore is set to auto at 4.5ghz the voltage went to 1.35V with a maximum temp of 72C. so thats solved that, was just my mistake! should i go into bios and set the vcore at 1.34 or 1.35 or just leave it at 'auto'? then run prime tonight
Thinking back when the vcore was set to auto, the voltage may have been slightly higher than 1.3V so that may be the reason for the temp. Ill run intelburm again to double check it then if all is well run prime overnight
ok ill run prime95 when i get a chance, thanks.

I left the voltage to 'auto' to see what it automatically changed to and it went to...
Ive never overclocked before but decided it was time to. Got my 2500k up to 4.5ghz and am making sure how to check it's stability and making sure everything is ok. Is running intelburn at maximum and checking the temperatures on coretemp enough to ensure everything is stable and ok? Or is there...
