Potentially the longest thread in history...

Random: Does America have any Tescos?

Kind of. And not very successfuly. They own a load of stores (about 170) on the West coast called Fresh and Easy, i think they specialise in fresh and healthy foods. So no, it's not really a Tesco at all.

What is a Tescos?

Tesco is the worlds 3rd largest retailer by revenue behind WalMart 1st, Carrefour 2nd. But they are 2nd in profits.

Revenue £60.93 billion (2010/11)[1]
Operating income £3.81 billion (2010/11)[1]
Net income £2.67 billion (2010/11)[1]

So it's our version of Wal-Mart. Funnily enough the US is one of the only places its had difficulty getting market share, hence why they went for a different type of store. I guess you guys just love Wal-Mart ;) Though i suppose its the same over here, Tesco is by far the largest retailer. Apprently every £1 in £4
is spent there but i'm not sure how much truth that holds :p

Yeah, Wally World reigns supreme over here. There's not much you can't get there, at least in the Super Centers.

In Tesco Extra stores you can get pretty much everything too. Though we have tighter laws than you, no guns for sale here :p

Re: Today I have...

That is his problem, he may have someone that will buy it.

But, when looking for rare car parts, well, scripts are great to have, just never have the script auto-order for ya.

Re: Today I have...

Weird fact, it's from a printer. Specifically a DesignJet HP5500, never even knew 3.5" hdds were in there  old machines are old

I've never seen a hard drive in a printer but I have seen them in plotters when I worked for corporate america. Every plot job sent was stored and could be re-plotted with the touch of a few buttons.
