What is your ISP speed?

I happen to have the luxury of working for my ISP so atm I have approx. 24mbps DL and 8-10mbps UL. Not too shabby for not having to pay for your monthly internet bill ...I often use speakeasy.net/speedtest during non-peak hours to check my bandwith, wish Comcast would reenstate their own speedtest direct to their servers

Not only that, it costs $159.95/month! Luckily my employer pays for it (I work from home).

That's what I get for living out in the country. No cable, no FIOS and no DSL available. I have what's called Fixed Wireless.

Goofing around on Speedtest.net due to insomnia, I decided to try a test to Nashville (~150 miles)...

Completely flipped me out.

Started out at 50+ but kept slowing down.

I am happy with this 15meg line.

Funny thing is, I recently upgraded from 10Mb to 30Mb, but I was perfectly happy with 10Mb. As long as I can steam/download video faster than it takes to play it, I'm happy. Of course, higher speeds are definitely a bonus, but still.
