Apple Sued Over Overheating iPads

^OMFG 23C?!!! GLOBAL WARMINGGG!!!

It was 23c yesterday and it's the middle of winter, if an iPad overheated outside in that temperature I would be massively surprised lol

I think the biggest problem is that the iPad is bigger than the iPhone, e.g. more surface area. Also it's black, which soaks up the heat nicely. So sunbathing in 30c weather (where the temperature in the sun would be even more) wouldn't really be a good idea IMO. And apparently the people suing found that out the hard way

Well yes but my iPhone 4 is smaller and just as fast as the ipad and it doesn't overheat outside so just how they managaed to get the ipad to overheat i do not know.

Its not as fast. Its 20% slower benchmark wise. Its beleived that the A4 is downclocked to 800mhz.

out of interest, what are your reasons? I'm not arguing, just curious to know
