Default Is it worth getting windows x64

Here is my spec:

EN7900gt
2gb low latency ram

i am dloading the demo now, all my hardware is compatible so it should be fine, but is it worth it.-its free i am trying the demo

Personally, i don't think it's worth it because (so i've heard) you wouldn't be able tp upgrade after installing X64 (ie. no upgrading to Vista, you'd have to completely reformat).

It's only what i've heard. I or where i got it from could be wrong. About formatting, most people don't mind formatting (personally, i hate it. i've reformatted Windows so many times, i could literally do it with my eyes closed), but other people (like me) find it a major pain in the arse.
