Don't get xp 64. Personally, I would get the Pro. But, for you the Home edition might be enough.

64 isn't ready yet
i have athlon 64 myself, but xp pro OS runs perfectly fine with athlon 64

i have had xp home and i did not like it at all i love xp pro its got better networking capabitlites thats what i like and need so i would go pro if i were but thats just my 2 cents on that it also depends on what u r goin to b doin if u r just surfin the net get home if u r goin to be playing games against others in ur house via a network get pro
