Windows Reinstall/Reactivate?

I'm looking to upgrade my motherboard, processor and memory. Will I need to reinstall all the software on my harddrive, including WinXP? I really can't be faffed with that so would rather not if avoidable...

If you are getting a new mobo, I would, software conflicts, etc could happen. But not if you are just going to install a new proc. and memory.

I have done it and got the blue screen of death. I had to reinstall and reactivate.
