Windows Media Center: Divx & Xvid Codecs?

okay i've been downloading everything possible to try and get xvid and divx to work with windows media center and nothing works!!

i've downloaded so many codecs and control programs but nothing works..

tried reading on forums and failed many times in search of getting this to work!!

anywho.. if anyone has any help for this. its much appreciated

btw, i'm running vista x64 ultimate edition

I assume you have tried the k-lite 64-bit pack?

The hefmeister is corect.. k-lite works well on Vx64 for me and it will uninstall any conflicting drivers and add the best by default.

That's what I have on mine. Don't know that I have hit any xvid or divx, though.

ya klite is the best. that's what i use and i have vista ultimate 64bit. never tried to play anything through media center.
