Turning Inventory into e-Catalog/Store

Hi guys, I am a complete luddite when it comes to computers so I was wondering if you could help me out. I need to find out the logistics of taking my inventory and making it into a simple e-catalog/store. All I need is the ability to update it at regular intervals and make it easy for customers to make purchases.

If someone could point me in the right direction, maybe where I should look, I'd really appreciate it.
