SP1... Now no USB support!

Hi all,

I had pretty limited USB support before on my Windows XP Professional system. Had to restart for Windows to recognise any USB devices. To fix this I tried installing SP1 and now I don't have any USB recognition at all, not even with a restart.

HELP!

I have a Dell Inspiron 5100.

All suggestions welcome.

Update all your drivers and all that crap. Also run Windows Update and make sure your up to date.

Ok, will give it a go when I get back from work.

The funny thing is, Device Manager lists my USB ports but nothing that's actually in them is shown or works!
