Sorry that is the only links i know of. So i dont know what else to tell you. You have nto given any new information or anything other than saying CClenaer was run and that you can not download SP3.

You might want to check the event viewer, see if there are any clues as to the cause of the problem.

If your performance is degraded across the board it could be that you are looking at a hardware problem.

Ok I have found a few errors they are:

Error-AutoEnrollment:
Automatic certificate enrollment for local system failed to contact the active directory (0x8007054b). The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
Enrollment will not be performed.

Warning-Event System:
The COM+ Event System failed to create an instance of the subscriber partition:{41E90F3E-56C1-4633-81C3-6E8BAC8BDD70}!new:{6295DF2D-35EE-11D1-8707-00C04FD93327}. CoGetObject returned HRESULT 8000401A.

Error-Userenv:
Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network. (The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. ). Group Policy processing aborted.

Error - Userinit:
Could not execute the following script C:\Documents and Settings\jj******.a*****\Desktop\boot.bat. The system cannot find the file specified.

Error - nview_info:

A few more errors:

Those are the ones i have found in Application and most are repeated many times.

Ok Here are the ones in System. There are alot of errors and warnings but most are just repeated errors of the one thing:

dnsAPi:
The system failed to register host (A) resource records (RRs) for network adapter
with settings:

The reason the system could not register these RRs was because the DNS server contacted refused the update request. The reasons for this might be (a) you are not allowed to update the specified DNS domain name, or (b) because the DNS server authoritative for this name does not support the DNS dynamic update protocol.

To register the DNS host (A) resource records using the specific DNS domain name and IP addresses for this adapter, contact your DNS server or network systems administrator.

Service Control Manager:
The Fax service failed to start due to the following error:

The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume C:.

USER32:
The attempt to unknown JOSHUA failed

atapi:
The device, \Device\Ide\IdePort0, did not respond within the timeout period.

cdrom:
An error was detected on device \Device\CdRom0 during a paging operation.


And thats it. Most if not all are repeated multiple times of a period of about 2 weeks.

Wow that is a ton of errors. I would do a repair install or even think about starting fresh. You get errors with your profile, CD ROM, IDE Port. Just about everything is throwing errors at you.

Well at first glance it looks like windows installer is broken, windows update is broken, and your machine is configured to be part of a domain?

I suggest a trip to the windows update website and perform a manual update.

Edit: I think some of this might of been caused by the SFC scan, its very important to go to windows update after you do that, like I mentioned.

Like Mak said you might want to concider a fresh install.

yeah. back your data up and do a fresh install. pick the long format option as it will run a disc check too.
