Hello, I have a question, i bought the Microsoft Windows XP Home With SP2B for System Builders 1 Pack two years ago, Newegg.com - Microsoft Windows XP Home With SP2B for System Builders 1 Pack - Operating Systems and now my HDD is giving me trouble and I have brand new HDD laying around and was wondering if I could install the same windows that was on the old HDD into the new HDD? Or do I have to buy a brand new Windows for the new HDD. I'm still using the same desktop(same motherboard, etc..)

If you don't want to reinstall all your programs I'd suggest getting a disk cloning tool (there are quite a few free ones out there), cloning your current drive onto the new drive, then take out the old drive, keep the new one in.
You'll need to do a repair install of the OS, but after that your system will be exactly the same, except you'll have the new drive in.
