Oh well, I will just have to stay with SP1 where everything is deteriorating
 
The product # will only have OEM if the OS was installed by the manufacturer. If you installed it with the CD from MS, then it'll just be numbers.
 
If you really want to get SP2 use Autopatcher. Google them. They have all updates from SP2 all the way up to the updates released in February. I have used it on many systems since i dont want to waste the time and download them all from M$. I just burn that to a disc and install it on many machines. It saves loads fo time.

Well, if you go to the Windows Update website, it will try to figure out if you have a genuine copy of Windows or not.

Of course, you could always save up and buy a real copy of the most important piece of software on your machine (aside from firmware, of course :) ).
