I have Microsoft outlook on a different computer that i will not be able to use for a while. Meanwhile is there a way that i can stop my Comcast email account from forwarding emails to outlook, then be able to resume it later when i have access to the computer again?

Thanks
Patrick

Are you forwarding your comcast email address to a different address that's setup in Outlook? Or do you just have your Comcast address setup as an account in Outlook?

You can configure Outlook to save a copy of the email on the server (if using POP or IMAP), and then you can login to your Comcast account through the web UI to check your email that way. Then when you are able to use the systems with Outlook again, you can disable that option if you like.

Configure Outlook Express Settings for Comcast Email

This should help out, read near the bottom of the page to configure it.
