Margins in Word '10 don't work

Well basically what happens is the top margins are fine, but the bottom margins wont go to 1 inch. They will stay far above the 1 inch mark even when I set it at 1 inch.

I can't move the text down manually so I have no idea what to do.

Go to the View tab, and enable the Ruler. You can then click and drag the page margins on the ruler. You might have already tried that, but I didn't see the ruler on your screenshot.
