I need Dell XPS Studio 1640 software help

I just bought a XPS Studio 1640, it ran great for a while but I realized there was a number of corrupted files in the OS. I reinstalled Vista, now it works perfeectly. The problem is I dont have a list of all the software which was on it before, the programs installed by dell (MS Works, Mcafee, Adobe Reader etc.) Can someone help me get a list of these programs, I want to know everything which was on them, even webcam softwarefor example. I looked on a few sites but could find next to nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Look on Dell's website. You can look just as easily as anyone else. Your problem is you reinstalled Vista yourself, meaning that you will have to INSTALL Vista (or whatever OS came with the PC) by using your recovery disk / partition. You cannot install an OS yourself and expect a manf. to just 'give' you the software packages.

You will have to install the OS using the Dell recovery disk / partition in order to get those programs back.
