Hey and welcome to my first post :D ,

Wasn't sure where to post this one but it's very easy.

When you receive an e.mail in hotmail, it has got both the date and time on it.

However, I receive e.mails from around the world and I would like to know if the times on the e.mail's are using the senders local time of when it was sent, or my time of receipt ?

Does that make sense, hope so ?

Thanks for your help

I'm pretty sure it's the time that you have received that e-mail. If you have 2 email accounts, send an email to your Hotmail account and note the time that is was sent, then look at the time once you get into your Hotmail inbox. However, most emails are sent pretty quickly that it's almost instanaiously (sp) that it won't be much different. So, I'm not completely sure if that would even work.
