Help With MS Word 2007

When I copy & paste images on Microsoft office word 2007 the images are in reverse order, this happens when I do it in a big block or individually. How can I stop this from happening. I could probably copy & paste them last one first to first one last individually but I have a few hundred to do, there has to be a better way to get them in order, any help will be greatly appreciated thanks.

Are you copying/pasting from a file explorer window?

Try selecting the images in the file explorer, in the reverse order. I want to say it's happened to me and that's how I got around it.
