Any or all of those will work wonderfully.

Ok, thanks a lot Makaveli213, I have got the codec package AND updated Media Player, everything working perfect again! . Also, I tried Spyware Terminator, not a bad program at all, though Windows Defender should have done its job way better. I only had a few trackering cookies etc, nothing too serious, Control Panel opens fine again and Aero works. Beats reinstalling again :laughing:
