Default ghost and XP

Would it be possible to ghost a hard drive with XP to another hard drive and then move that hard drive to a different pc?

Thank you

i think what chesman is trying to say is that after you move the hard drive you need to reinstall the operating system on the other computer. i think scan2 was already planning to do this.

If you move an XP drive to another PC with totally different hardware my personal experience has been no it will not even boot at all. Thanks to Bill and his new ideas on registration with the old 98se you could install it on anything and it would just either ask you for the 98se disk or it would just install the right drivers and move on to the desktop
