Forgot password for window 7 on new custom build

Hi I just built a new Computer last night and forgot the password I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to log on
I only have the one ADMIN account.

Use the installation CD and go to recovery tools, then use the command prompt tool. Type the following:

net user administrator /active:yes

Restart the PC and you will now see the administrator account, click on it to log in (no password).

I tried to use the installation disk but nothing seems to happen. I used the Newegg.com - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - Operating Systems if this helps

So if you do the recovery options and go to the command prompt, do you have the option then? Here is what i've followed in the past:

I got it to work by switching the boot option to DVD-ROM drive thank you very much for your help
