i recently upgraded to xp from win2k. now that i have upgraded i have been getting slower download speeds. i used to get over 100k/sec overall, but now i cant seem to get any more than 50k/sec overall. anyone seen or heard this problem? know of any fix? am i using the newest version 53. thanks

I don't think that is an Operating System issue. Have you tried re-installing edonkey??

Isn't version 53 the Overnet client not ed2k?
