DVD player on PC

I am looking for a good DVD player in XP on my 21" LCD monitor

1. I can use Windows Media but am not satisfied with it even with the nVidia player add-on.
2. I can use Real Player. Great Picture but no sound!
3. I have tried Win DVD 7 - it's the best so far, but not perfect by any means
4. I have tried Nero Player, but it has jagged edges
5. Power DVd?

Preferably either free or not very expensive.

Ideas please

nvida pure video decoder has the absolute best picture. it configures your video card (if it is an nvidia card) to look almost as good as a hardware dvd decoder card

what about vlc or is that low quality?
