CRM Recommendations???

I am looking for a good Customer Relationship Management Software solution. Has MS CRM really worked for anyone out there? Does anyone know if you can integrate it(or others) with a website using java and have it update/add to a contact list? I know there is a lot of crazy things you can do with CRM software. I need to try to implement a CRM pretty soon. Also how easy is it to get something like this going?

Please help! What is your take? What has worked and didnÂ’t work for you?
