Confirmability of a BIOS Update

I saw the other BIOS upgrade topic below this one(didn't want to hijack it, so I started a new topic) and it got me thinking. I did some searching again for BIOS updates for my motherboard, I've tried before and have never found any.

I took a look on the Asus site (brand of my motherboard) and I think I found updates for it. I am posting this to make sure that it actually is for my board, and is compatible. Here are my motherboard specs:

the only info i get about a M2N68 LA mobo is for a HP system. I dont see that motherboard listed on Asus's site.

Hmmm, it is a HP system. Now that I look at it there is no LA model in that list. Wonder if LA is designated for this certain HP model? If that's the case, I didn't find anything for this model on the HP site .
