Computer hangs during Intel Pentium/BIOS startup screen

This started happening very recently.

Whenever I turn on my computer it shows a screen with Intel Pentium on it saying Press F2 for BIOS or something like that. This is normal but recently this screen hangs for a couple of seconds before it shows the Windows XP operating System. I am worried that there is a problem with my computer.

Can anyone tell me why this might be happening?

Could be a problem with your XP Boot. Could be a issue with your BIOS. Could be be over heating.

Does it do anything after that screen? Start the boot of XP at all?
