Thanks for the information. The wife complained about this very issue. This is our first Comp with a LCD monitor and she didn't like the type display. Cleared it right up again thanks.

wat exactly does it do? ive recently installed XP over 98 and i usually have it on 1600 x 1200 resolution (the max on my 4 year old monitor which is really good for that old)

my computer:
Pentium 3 500 MHZ
DVD 8x
CD Burner 4x4x24
Sound Blaster Live
NVidia TNT2 RIVA (video card)
Gateway VX-700 (monitor)
Optus Broadband
Seagate Barracuda 40 GIG 7200 RPM (fairly new)

I've had it on every Mac I've ever had (or used). So once again, microsoft is trying to play 'catch up' Lol :laughing:
