Hello,

I keep trying to clear my recycle bin, but says "Cannot remove folder Dc6: Access is denied".

When I open the recycle bin, there is nothing shown there.

I cant find this folder anywhere.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Restart the computer and try again. Either you have a virus / spyware or you are trying to delete a folder that has a program loaded into memory. Restart see if that helps. If not check your task manager and stop and processes that are not vital. Then try to delete it.

Restarted many times, no difference. Just wondering how it ended up in my recycle bin anyways if it is a windows essential file.

Could have been accidentally deleted. Could not be windows essential, could just be program essential and that program is loaded into memory.

Read my first post. Start killing processes that you know aren't windows specific, once you get down to the 'bare essentials' see if you can delete the file.

Also run a virus scan and spyware scan IF the above advice doesn't work.

Did that...ran w/ process explorer and autoruns, nothing suspect. Trying Dial a fix now. Any other suggestions?
