Alternative to Windows Movie Maker

Hi!

I like Windows Movie Maker a lot because its very simple and for what I do its perfect. But on my computer with XP, WMM doesn't work. I can install it and run it but crash when I try to add transition.

You guys know another program similar to WMM by its simplicity and effiency?

I know of VideoSpin. Never used it, though. Says it is very similar to WMM.

Nero is quite good as is Sony Vegas.

What you need to do is find out why it crashes. Perhaps the version you have loaded is not for Windows XP but Vista or Wndows 7?

What are you trying to do? All movie makers seem to have a 99 maximum for frames so perhaps you are adding more frames than is acceptable? A transition is much like a frame so it will add to the frame count.
