acronis true image live cd 2015

hi,

I am trying to make an image using acronis live cd on my asus x550za notebook. When I get to 'partitions to back up' I select disk 2 but I can not put a CHECK next to it with my mouse because I am unable to use it. I can use arrows up and down and side to side but I still can not put a CHECK next to it and then select NEXT that I know of.

Is there a way I can accomplish this?

Arrow keys to navigate, Space to make selections (checkmarks), and Enter to accept a menu navigation (i.e. Next).

At least, that's how CloneZilla works (which I prefer as my go-to cloning software).

When in boot option how do I adjust the option of 1, 2 or 3 so I can change the option of cd/dvd to the first option?

In the BIOS, it's usually +/- or PgUp/PgDwn

I assume one has to hit 'shift' for +/- to move option? If so, i tried it and it did not move the option. Am i doing something wrong?

I get a mouse driver in Acronis 11 dos. If your using an older motherboard, try using a ps2 mouse

If you use the numpad you don't need to use shift. Can't remember if you have to use Shift with the number row on the normal keyboard or not. Try it both ways and see which works .

touch pad works nicely on acronis 2015, 16 uses mouse without issue.
