Hey guys im new to the forum and hoping to learn alot about computers but for now 1 simple question, I bought an asus G60vx gaming laptop which has a intel centrino 2 processor in it. I want to put an i7 processor in it and was wondering if i would have to change the entire motherboard to do so ? Thanks for any responses !

You can't simply take the board out and install a new one. It is a precise shape. Every manufacturer has their own boards. The cases are also specialized.
You need to buy a new laptop.
