New Asus K53E Running Slow, Freezing up, Etc

Delete is normally the key to get into BIOS. Keep pressing it when you see the ASUS splash, when you restart it.

Go to the Boot tab. There should be something in there that says Boot Priority or Boot order. Move your DVD drive to the first position.
 
Okay, that makes sense.
The computer has been running almost perfect since last night, but I'm not sure why- I haven't really been doing anything out of the ordinary. Should I wait and see if keeps running fine, or try to figure out what the problem was?
