Hello Laptopians, i have a problem with my laptop, when watching dvd's or big videos (these are running off my HD not from a CD) and when playing more hardware intensive games my laptop stutters every like 4 seconds for about half a second and its very irritating. It also takes a little while to loads general things such as mozilla, windows in windows, start menu etc at first but after i have oppened them a few times it seems to be ok in windows.
Anyway i think its my harddrive doing this, i have heard a few clicks now and then from my harddrive but pretty rarely. Still i dont think its my memory, cpu or gpu.
Anyway because of this i think i might buy a new harddrive, i have a Dell inspiron 9400 and i know that it requires a 2.5" harddrive but some sites say the height (i think mine is 9.5mm) but if i buy any 2.5" will they all be 9.5mm in height? I dont want to buy one and find it doesnt fit.

my drive just slots in and the screws are like, part of my laptop so i wont be chucking them out
