so then basically it is not worth it because its a pretty good waste of money. instead of buying 2 cpus and mobo try just upgrading the stuff you have now with that money

I would agree that a dual cpu setup should be left in a server environment.

ok then, it was just an idea. but i want to tell you, i already have the cpu's, i just need a mobo.

Well likes been said, if you can find one for cheap then by all means do it. I actually have a dual CPU board thanks to my good buddy Jak

It's got the CPUs I just need to get fans on the heatsinks, put paste on the CPUs, throw in a stick of RAM and see how she runs.

I figure I may use it for server purposes and experimentation or something
