Angry video card

hey guys, i just wanna say that im planing on upgrading my video card but i dont know what to do first, shoud i just pop in the video card and download the drivers, or uninstal my drivers thats already built in first, what should i do. thanx

I would uninstall the current drivers so that the desktop looks like crap, like the first time you see Windows with all its weird colors.

Then download the latest drivers and put it on the desktop for easy access later.

Turn off PC, unplug power, press power button.

Then take steps to remove card and put new one in.

Double check everything, and power up. Install drivers and hope for the best.


My computer uses 1.5A-load, .8A-idle, .65A-standby, .05A-turned off on 125V.

i uninstall my old drivers, put the card in then install the new drivers, restart and presto.
