Ok, here's the questions guys. A USB cd rom drive or a PCMCIA cd rom drive. The laptops that i fix don't have any cd rom drives. And I need to boot from a cd. Which one do i need to access all the laptops, USB or PCMCIA?
I think this depends on your particular bios - some older laptops may have difficulties booting from a USB cdrom... If they support booting from USB - I would go with that. That way your not stuck with an external CD-ROM for your laptop - you can use it on your PC as well.
the laptops that i came across are mostly new. And mostly all of them are able to boot up from a usb. Just didn't know which one is better. Or which one is going to be more compliant.
